National Library Week 2022
by Unknown User on 2022-04-05T20:33:00-05:00 | 0 CommentsHappy National Library Week. Did you know there are an estimated 116,867 libraries of all kinds in the United States? Did you know that the Library of Congress is the largest library in the world, with more than 167 million items on approximately 838 miles of bookshelves, which would span roughly the distance from The Library of Congress in Washington, D.C., to Cape Canaveral, Florida?
The theme for this year's National Library Week is Connect with Your Library. National Library Week 2022 promotes the idea that libraries are places to get connected to technology and offer opportunities to connect with books, media, programs, ideas, and classes. Most importantly libraries also connect communities.
