Financial Literacy Month

- One-quarter of students have experienced food insecurity during college
- Seventeen percent of students have dealt with housing insecurity
- Two-thirds of students work at least part-time and approximately one in five work 30 hours per week
- Nearly four out of five U.S. workers live paycheck to paycheck
- Over a quarter never save any money from month to month
April is Financial Literacy Month. To raise awareness of our financial education crisis, lawmakers passed a bill designating April as Financial Literacy Month. Take a moment to learn more about financial literacy by visiting our display at the ORU Library.
