Begin Your Search
- Begin at the Library's Home page.
- Click on the Books tab.
- Next, change the dropdown to Author.
- Enter author in the search box, Twain, Mark.
Type the last name then comma first name. - Click on Submit.
Catalog Results List
Click on the author's name to see the list of books the Library has by this author. In this example, we will click on the second result, "Twain Mark 1835 1910 -- 177 entries". Mark Twain is the pseudonym of Samuel Clemens. You can click on the link "Clemens, Samuel Langhorne, 1835-1910" to see other items written by this author.
There are 177 items in the catalog written by Mark Twain.
Limit to Print
Click on Limit/Sort Search.
- Select PRINTED MATL next to Material type.
- Then click on Submit.
Information You Need From the Catalog
Find the book in the results list you would like to check out and get the following information.
- Check to make sure the Status is AVAILABLE.
- Take a picture of the Call Number or write it down.
- Note the Location in the Library where the book will be found.
