The Acquisitions department is located on the second floor of the J.D. McKean Library at Oral Roberts University. The department is responsible for purchasing all monographic material and media as recommended by academic and library staff, and monitoring expenditures of departmental allocations. These materials are primarily monographic but sometimes includes DVDs, CDs, and other formats according to our collection development policy.

The J.D. McKean Library at Oral Roberts University is no longer able to routinely accept most book donations for the general circulating collection. Please see the Gift Books Policy page for more information. We provide book repair and preservation services only for items in the library collection.
