Use the library catalog to find a variety of library materials, including books and opens new windowebooks with links to full text, reserve materials by opens new windowprofessor or opens new windowcourse, opens new windowperiodicals located in the library, opens new windowreference materials, opens new windowvideo files, opens new windowDVDs (~2,100 titles), opens new windowaudiobooks (more than 700 titles), and more. Inquire at the One-Stop Library Services Desk if you have questions or need help finding a book.
When you find an item in the catalog, note the "status." Is the item available for check out? If not, you may put a hold on the item so it cannot be renewed by the current user. If the item is available, record the location and call number to find it on the shelves in the library. The library's technical services department provides data on new books, ebooks, DVDs.

When you log in to your library account you can renew books online, check due dates of books, update your profile, save a list of items you have checked out, and more.
To access your library account:
In the library catalog, go to the opens new windowMy Account (located under My library in the right menu) and log in.
To set up and save your reading history:
Log in to My Account. Click the My Reading History button, then click Opt in. If you choose to not Opt Into My Reading History, no record will be kept of your returned (checked-in) items.
Limit your search results to a resource type, such as DVD, ebooks, Holy Spirit Research Center, or reference.
Sort your results by relevance, date, title, author or material type.
Use the Book Cart buttons (located to the left of the titles) to create a list of records. Then, to view your list of records click the "View Saved" button at the top of the page.
To locate a book on the shelves:
- Look at the status to determine if the book is available
- Identify the location in the library
- Record the call number to find the book on the shelves
If your library books are not overdue, you can easily renew them online.
Go to the opens new window Library catalog, My account link and log in using your name and the bar code from your Eagle Card. Follow the instructions on the page.
The self-checkout unit at the One-Stop Library Service can also be used to renew your books. Simply check your books out again to renew them.
The library encourages users to use the self-checkout unit at the circulation counter, LRC 4th floor. Please note that reserve items, DVDs, audiobooks and headphones will need to be taken to the circulation counter for check out.
To use self-check out you must be validated in the library. Go to opens new windowMy account in the library catalog and try to log in. If you are successful and do not have a past expiration date, you are ready for self-check out. If you are unable to access your library account, go to the One-Stop Library Services Desk for assistance.
The One-Stop Library Services Desk closes 15 minutes before the library's closing time. The self-check machine may be used any time the library is open by patrons whose library registration is current and whose library account is clear.
