When English is not your first language, you may at times want to change resources into your first language. The examples below show how to change the database interface to another language, search for articles and books in another language, and translate articles, when available.

Change the Language of the EBSCO Interface

You can change the interface text in EBSCOhost from English to one of the following languages:

• Arabic
• Bahas a Indonesian
• Brazilian Portuguese
• Croatian
• Czech
• Danish
• Dutch
• Finnish
• French
• German
• Greek
• Hebrew
• Hungarian
• Italian
• Japanese
• Korean
• Norwegian
• Persian

To change the interface language:

1. Hover your pointer over Languages on the blue toolbar at the top of the EBSCO page to view available languages.
2. Click on the desired language to refresh and translate the interface. (Note: Search results and articles will still appear in their original language.)

Translating an Article in EBSCO

When an article in EBSCO is available in HTML full text format, you may be able to translate it into the following languages:

To translate an HTML full text article:

1. Click an article title to go to the article detail page.
2. Select a desired language from the Choose Language drop-down menu list.
3. Click the Translate button.
