Father's Day

by Jane Malcolm, M.L.S. on 2021-06-08T16:03:04-05:00 | Comments

father and daughterDo you ever wonder why God made fathers? The first father God created was Adam, whom He gave dominion over all living things (Genesis 1:26-28).  Fathers serve a divine purpose. God made them teachers (Proverbs 22:6), providers (1 Timothy 5:8), disciplinarians (Ephesians 6:4), and lovers of his family as Christ loves the Church (Ephesians 5:25). If you do not have an earthly father, look to your heavenly Father who made earthly fathers in His image and likeness. He promises to be with you always, even unto the end of the earth (Matthew 28:20).
