About 3D Graphics and Simulations
3D visualizations are 3D graphics and simulations that add depth of dimension and enable the viewer to interact, rotate, and view 3D displays in multiple perspectives. No VR headset is required.

Explore the Human - A free application that visualizes anatomy, disease and treatments with dynamic, interactive 3D graphics and simulations. Explore detailed models of anatomy and health conditions. Consists of "over 12,000 independently selectable, tagged and labeled 3D models."
to get started click "Launch Human" on the BioDigital page, or opens new windowlog in after you have created a free account, which can be used on both the web and mobile apps.

ORU's Subscription - Faculty members and ORU students in anatomy, nursing, physiology, and related courses, may request access to ORU's subscription which includes a collaborative workspace for sharing models and the ability to publish models for use in D2L. For more information, contact Myra Bloom at mbloom@oru.edu or 918.495.7174. If you need assistance with BioDigital Human, set up an appointment with Professor Bloom.
BioDigital's Free Plan - Gives basic access to view the "entire library of interactive 3D models up to 10 times per month, create customized views of the body in Human Studio, and store up to 5 models in My Library for future reference."
Try this:
1. Log in to BioDigital Human. Open the Explore menu at the top of the screen.
2. Select the categoryBlood, Heart and Circulation. Click Heart.
3. Use your mouse or touchpadto move the 3D image.
Click an area of the heart.
For anatomy information, click the info button ⓘ in the left sidebar.
Use the Anatomy button to explore all the anatomy of your current view.
Click tools in the left sidebar.
On the toolbar at the bottom of the page, click X-ray Mode in the View Modes options.
To see hidden objects, use the Dissect tool in the toolbar to remove one object at a time by clicking your mouse.

- Maya 3D Animation Software - Enables creation of professional 3D cinematic animations.
- Maya Suite - 3D modeling program.
- Mudbox 3D Sculpting Software - a digital sculpting and texture painting software for 3D.
