Access Services

Semester Break Hours

From November 29 through December 23, 2020:

The Library building will be closed and building access will be by appointment only. Contact Librarian@oru.edu if you need to visit the building during this time. Librarians will be available online through chat, text, and email to assist with research needs:

Monday - Friday: 9am-5pm

Saturday and Sunday: Noon to 5pm

From December 24, 2020 through January 3, 2021:

In celebration of the holidays, the Library building and all research services will be unavailable, although all online resources remain available for use.

From January 4 through January 17, 2021:

Although the building will remain closed and available for access by appointment only, librarians will be available online 7 days a week via chat, text, and email. Hours of available librarian assistance:

Monday - Friday: 9am-7pm

Saturday and Sunday: Noon to 5pm

Research Help is Available

Librarians are available for help and advice on research and access to library resources and services during these hours.

NOTE: Faculty, staff, and students are required to wear masks when in public areas or areas where physically distancing is not possible.
