What is a Liason Librarian?

Each department or college has a liaison librarian who is responsible to ensure that the library needs of the students and faculty are supported by the library.
Faculty are encouraged to call on the liaison for their program for any kind of library question or assistance, including:

  • Library instruction, including in-class presentation
  • Library purchase recommendations
  • Research help
  • Creation of library guide for a course or subject
  • Collaboration on information literacy learning outcomes
  • Any other library-related question

Your liaison librarian can help you and your students connect with the services and resources you need.

The list to the right shows which librarian is assigned to each department and college, with links to each librarian's contact information.
