ebrary Features

  • InfoTools Icon: Click the icon to select a function such as copy, print, define, search, or make a note.
  • Add to Bookshelf Button: Click to add title to your personal ebrary bookshelf.
  • Back and Forward Arrows: Click the back arrow to go back one page, and click the forward arrow to go forward one page.
  • Back and Forward Arrows with Magnifying Glass Icons: Click the back arrow to go to the previous search result, and click the forward arrow to go to the next search result.
  • Plus and Minus Icon: Click to select page magnification (75, 100, 125, 150, and 200 per cent).
  • Highlight Tool: Select text and then click the highlight tool to highlight. To select a highlight color, click the arrow down icon to the immediate right of the highlight tool. In addition to a choice of color, a color note can also be chosen.
  • Download Icon: Click the download icon to download either a chapter/page range or the entire ebook.
  • TOC (Table of Contents) Tab: Click the small arrows in front of each heading in the table of contents to see the related subheadings. Click the headings/subheadings to go to that part of the ebook.
  • Notes Tab: Click the notes tab to go to the pages related to those notes or to delete the notes.
  • Bookshelf Tab: Click the bookshelf tab to go to your ebrary bookshelf. All books that you have annotated are automatically placed in the bookshelf. Folders can be created by clicking the "Add Folder" and typing in the name of a folder. The icons of the book covers may be dragged into the folders. Books and annotations may be deleted from the bookshelf by clicking the trash icons beside them.

  • Browse Subjects: Browse the ebrary ebooks by clicking the link entitled "All Subjects."
