The library relies on classroom faculty to recommend books and other materials for acquisition by the library. Each department is served by a library liaison who can assist and consult with faculty on recommended materials. Find your liaison in the box at the right.

How to recommend library materials

• Check the opens new windowORU catalog first to be sure the items are not already owned

• For journals, check the opens new windowJournal Finder+ to see if ORU already has the journal. Send your journal requests to your liaison librarian.

• Use the online form

• Create a wish list in opens new windowAmazon or opens new windowWorldCat and email it to your liaison librarian

• Email a list of items to your liaison librarian

Include full citation plus ISBN for each item and preferred format (print or ebook, etc.)
